Sunkissed Farm

About the Farm Sunkissed Farm resides in Windsor, Vermont's esteemed birthplace, nestled on a 29-acre expanse atop an ancient floodplain overlooking the Connecticut River. Dating back to 1805, our historic two-story brick farmhouse stands, accompanied by the enduring presence of the farm's original artisanal spring, which faithfully provides water. Enriched by sandy loam soil boasting 6 percent organic material, our land proves fertile and conducive to our meticulous in-ground cultivation methods. We conscientiously integrate insectary species of herbs to foster habitats and nourishment for beneficial insects. Nitrogen-fixing plants serve as understory plantings, enriching the soil's quality. To further enhance our soil's health, we implement cover crops such as vetch, turnips, and daikon radish, fortifying its structure, composition, and ecological balance. The reintroduction of cattle to our farm marks a sustainable approach, as they rotationally graze, rejuvenate pastures, diversify plant species, and provide invaluable natural amendments. At Sunkissed Farm, we take a holistic approach to nurturing our plants. Our on-site inputs are meticulously brewed into compost teas, enriching soil microbes and energizing plant vitality. Custom-designed greenhouses allow us to harness the benefits of the sun, moon, wind, and rain while regulating extreme elements. Thus, we ensure our plants receive optimal conditions and care, yielding the healthiest, most potent, and visually stunning buds. All our plants originate from seeds carefully selected for their genetic heritage. Our in-house breeding program meticulously blends ancient landrace cultivars with select, renowned crosses, resulting in bespoke varietals with unique traits and characteristics. This dedicated curation over the years produces our signature strains, each bearing distinctive qualities.
